Hamster Paw

A True Hamster Story

Hamster Paw

When I added the Hamsters Galore section I just had to add this story about my hamster, Dolores J. Tinkleman. This story actually happened twice, and I was dumbfounded both times. I went into the room and she had a stash of coconut treats that she was sitting next to. Obviously I didn't give them to her, because there was way too much there for one little hamster. Of course the next thought to enter your head would be that she got out of her cage... but then that would lead to the assumption that she got back in there fine. But her cage is on the 3rd shelf off the floor, around a metre high!

After she did this twice I had to find out how she was getting back into her cage with all of that food. Obviously she just dropped to the floor to get down, so I put her on the floor to start. I then watched her as she climbed up the shelving unit using lots of different random items as props (including Nose E.'s old cage, when she was in there).
